How 99andFly Studios Works
99andFly Studios is a digital comics platform where you can generate your own comics with AI, organize them in your personal hub, read official and member-made stories, and share your work with the world. This guide walks you through everything.
1. Create an Account & Choose a Plan
Sign up with your email. You can browse AI-generated comics as a Free visitor, but to generate your own comics you'll pick a membership tier:

2. The AI Builder — Make Your Own Comics
The AI Builder is where you create comics and children's books. Open My Comic Hub and go to the Generations tab, or visit the AI Builder page. You create a comic in a few simple steps:
Pick a Genre & Art Style
Choose from 18 genres (Superhero, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, etc.) and 12 art styles (Manga, Comic Book, Watercolor, Noir, etc.). The AI uses these to shape every page.
Add Characters (Optional)
Build custom character references in the Characters tab — name, description, and AI-generated art. The AI will keep your characters consistent across panels. Available on Frequent Flyer and above.
Write or Let AI Write Your Story
Paste your own narrative, or check "AI writes narrative" and let the AI craft the story. You can also add custom notes for specific direction.
Generate & Choose Your Pages
Hit Generate and each page comes back with Option A and Option B (both AI-generated). You can also upload your own art as Option C. Pick the version you like for each page, then publish to your hub.
Understanding Tokens
Generation Tokens
Spent to generate a full comic or children's book. Each tier gives you a set amount per month (see plan above). Tokens accumulate — they never expire.
Regeneration Tokens
Used to re-generate individual pages you're not happy with. Available on Frequent Flyer (20/mo), Founding Flyer (60/mo), and Favored Flyer (100/mo). Buy more anytime on My Comic Hub — $0.25 per token in packages of 4, 20, 40, or 100.
Free Preview Tokens
A shared community pool. Free members get 1 per year; paid members get 1 per month — first come, first served. Members can donate unused generation tokens to the pool from My Comic Hub. Anyone can also donate $4.99 to add a token.
One-time generation: No subscription? Generate a single comic for $4.99 from the AI Builder page. Your comic lands in My Comic Hub just like a subscriber.
Donate to the pool: Anyone can donate $4.99 to add a free preview token to the community pool — helping others try before they subscribe.
3. My Comic Hub — Organize, Publish & Share
My Comic Hub is your personal workspace where all your generated and published comics live. It has six main sections:
- My Series — group your published comics into named series (like "Chronicles of Light #1, #2, #3") for easy browsing.
- My Comics — every comic you've published, split into Public (visible to everyone) and Private (only you can see it). Reassign series names and visibility anytime.
- Favorites — comics from across the platform you've saved with the heart button.
- AI Generated — comics generated entirely by AI (no user narrative). Free visitors can read these without an account.
- Characters — your personal Character Library for consistent AI character art.
- Generations — the full AI Builder where you create, edit, and regenerate comics before publishing. This is where you select images, rename titles, and publish.
Publishing Your Comic
From the Generations tab, once you're happy with every page, hit Publish. Choose Public to share with the community or keep it Private. Published comics appear on your Comic Hub and (if public) in the site's feed.
Token Shop on My Comic Hub
At the top of My Comic Hub you'll see your current token balances and a Buy Regeneration Tokens section. Purchase packages of 4, 20, 40, or 100 tokens at $0.25 per token. Tokens never expire — buy them anytime, stock up, and use them when you need to fix a page. You can also donate your unused generation tokens directly to the community free preview pool — just click the link below your token count.
4. Share Your Work — Public or Private
When publishing a comic, you can set it to Public (visible to everyone on the site) or Private (only visible to you). Private comics are perfect for personal projects, family stories, or work-in-progress drafts you're not ready to share with the world.
Use the Share button on any comic or series in My Comic Hub to generate a read-only link. Send it to friends, family, or your church — they can view your comics without an account, even if you've kept them private. It's a great way to get feedback before going public or to share personal stories with a select audience.
5. Community & Support
React to AI comics. On AI-generated comics you can tap 👍 or 👎. The most-liked comics rise to the top of the feed.
Flag content. If an AI comic crosses a line, hit the flag and tell us why. Every flag emails our team for review.
Priority Support Tickets: Favored Flyer members get the "Get Help with a Page" button at the top of My Comic Hub. Submit a ticket about a specific page — share your hub link, note the page number, and describe the issue. Tickets go straight to our team for review.
